About Wendy

I’m a Alchemist – a facilitator of inner and outer transformation from OpenHhearted Presence.

My qualifications and experience  include: transpersonal somatic counselling, metaphysical medicine, Ayurveda, life coaching, yoga and meditation teaching.  I offer spiritual guidance and mentorship, as well as intuitive energy healing.

My inward journey began in 1999 when I started practicing yoga. In 2001 I enrolled at the Mandala Yoga Ashram in Wales for a two-year Satyananda Yoga teacher training course. I later completed a year-long meditation course based on Yogic and Buddhist philosophy.  I studied Ayurveda in London, Thailand and India.

This proved the foundation of a life-long commitment to my own spiritual unfoldment. I realised that my calling was to share these profound teachings with others. I began as a massage therapist, some twenty years back, and then expanded my offering to include counselling, coaching, metaphysical medicine, nutrition, energy healing and awakening support. I have explored a variety of healing modalities, including Thai massage, Ayurvedic oil massage (Chavutti Thirumal), Ayurveda, Nutrition, Jin Shin Jyutsu (Japanese energy healing system), Pranic healing and Reiki.

My work is my vocation: I feel called to be of service to people by offering them a safe space to heal and harmonise their lives, as well as supporting their awakening process.  My aim is not to change people, but to meet them from a place of unconditional acceptance and respect. The magic of transformation and empowerment is the natural outcome of awareness.  By teaching people self awareness, I help them to explore and embody their unlimited potential.

My passion lies in the daily deepening of my connection with the sacredness of Life itself.  My soul name, Vandana, was given to me by my first Yoga teacher, Swami Nischalananda.  It means “Praise or Grateful.  The person who constantly worships Reality in every thought, word and deed.”  I received this name in 2004.  Now, 14 years later, I feel like I’m embodying this invitation.

and in this way honour the sacredness of life.”
